About the Role DeLorean Labs is building CarHarbor, a Web3 automotive marketplace where vehicle ownership, transactions, and automotive assets live on-chain. As Protocol Engineer, you will design and build the blockchain infrastructure at the heart of the platform. What You'll Do Design and develop blockchain protocols and smart-contract infrastructure. Build the systems behind tokenized vehicle ownership and digital assets. Develop secure marketplace, ownership-transfer, and transaction mechanisms. Integrate on-chain systems with off-chain marketplace data. Improve scalability, gas efficiency, and protocol performance. Research and adopt new Web3 technologies where they add real value. What We're Looking For 4+ years of Web3 / blockchain development experience. Strong knowledge of blockchain architecture and EVM ecosystems. Strong Solidity skills, plus experience with wallets, RPCs, and chain infrastructure. Experience integrating on-chain and off-chain data. Strong system-design and problem-solving skills; good English communication. Rust, Go, or TypeScript is a plus. Nice to Have RWA / asset tokenization experience. NFT or DeFi protocol experience. Cross-chain or Layer 2 technologies. Production Web3 protocol launches. Perks Hourly engagement available for contract/freelance arrangements.
