About the Role CarHarbor moves real, high-value car sales on-chain. As Smart Contract Developer, you will build the on-chain engine behind them: a suite of secure, audited contracts covering tokenized vehicles and the full escrow lifecycle of a sale. What You'll Do Design, develop, and deploy ERC-721 / ERC-1155 contracts representing vehicles and their metadata (VIN, mileage, history). Architect a multi-sig escrow contract covering fund locking, delivery verification, and automated ownership transfer. Drive rigorous internal testing and coordinate external audits to protect user funds. Optimize contracts for gas efficiency on Polygon and Ethereum L2s. What We're Looking For Deep expertise writing secure, production-grade Solidity. Security-first mindset: reentrancy, front-running, overflow, and beyond. Strong experience with OpenZeppelin and upgradeable patterns (UUPS / Transparent). Proficient unit testing with Foundry or Hardhat. Nice to Have Account abstraction or meta-transaction experience for smoother onboarding. Familiarity with legal-to-code frameworks for real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. Tech Stack Solidity (0.8.20+), Hardhat, Foundry, Ethers.js, OpenZeppelin, Chainlink, Slither, Mythril, TypeScript. Perks Hourly engagement available for contract/freelance arrangements.
