About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Operations Intern to join our Finance team. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-growing fintech company. You will work closely with finance, accounting, operations, and cross-functional teams to help ensure financial processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in corporate finance, accounting, financial operations, and fintech. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and operational dashboards. Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation. Provide support by preparing reports and validating data. Assist in monitoring cash movements and transaction accuracy. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and operational issues. Help improve finance processes through automation and workflow optimization. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and administrative projects as assigned. Draft standard operating procedures based upon existing workflows. Understand workflows and assist with process testing and quality assurance. Qualifications A relevant academic background: Pursuing a Bachelor's, Associate's, or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. A clear communicator and driver: Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. You work easily across engineering, operations, and finance, keep everyone aligned, and drive the group toward a shared goal without needing the title to do it. A bias for moving fast: If something can be done in five minutes, you get it done right away. For larger deliverables that require focus, you leverage business instincts, hustle, and AI to deliver what would've taken weeks in a matter of days. A structured problem-solver: You break big, ambiguous questions into orderly pieces, turning large projects into incremental milestones that keep teams moving and progress measurable. Agile and adaptable: You're capable of quickly picking up and supporting new concepts and ideas, and ambiguity energizes you. You'd rather propose a direction than wait for one. Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications Enough technical fluency to hold your own with strong engineers (you don't need to code daily, but you should understand technical complexity, architectural decisions, and accompanying tradeoffs). Knowledge of and interest in cryptocurrencies, cryptography, and/or blockchain technology. Hands-on experience from a prior internship, a startup, a hackathon, a club you led, or a project where you actually built or researched something. A passion for consumer-first technology.
