Golang Engineer (Market Data / Dump)

ABFinance is a US-based firm building digital finance for the future. Our vision is to create a full financial ecosystem where digital assets, traditional finance, and everyday money management live in one seamless experience that is made available to everyone. Founded by a team of innovators, traders, and compliance professionals, our mission is to bring digital assets to the mainstream through secure, regulated products. Our flagship ecosystem combines a compliant, security-first crypto exchange serving both retail and institutional clients, alongside a Debit Card that enables everyday spending and smooth bridging between fiat and digital assets, supported by core capabilities such as spot trading and yield generation products. About the role We are looking for a hands-on Golang Engineer to own the full lifecycle of our market data infrastructure — from raw feed ingestion through to real-time distribution across our trading engine, risk systems, and client-facing APIs. You will be a core contributor to one of the most latency-sensitive layers of the exchange. Responsibilities 1. Design and implement a low-latency market data distribution platform — delivering order book snapshots, trade ticks, and derived indicators to the matching engine, risk engine, and client WebSocket/REST endpoints with sub-millisecond end-to-end latency. 2. Build and maintain real-time and historical market data stores — supporting live order book reconstruction, candlestick aggregation, and high-fidelity data replay for quantitative backtesting and post-trade analysis. 3. Optimize high-throughput message pipelines — targeting millions of events per second across internal topics (Kafka / custom ring-buffer), applying lock-free queues and zero-copy techniques to eliminate bottlenecks. 4. Architect multi-region active-active market data infrastructure — ensuring ≥99.99% availability and ≥99.999% data integrity across geographically distributed data centres, with automatic failover and replication lag monitoring. 5. Integrate external and cross-exchange data sources — onboarding centralized exchange feeds (Binance, OKX, Bybit, CME CF, Coinbase), decentralized on-chain price oracles, and index price providers; owning the normalization, deduplication, and sequencing layer. 6. Build a market data observability stack — latency tracing per symbol and per hop, end-to-end pipeline visualization, stale-quote alerting, and automated circuit-breaker triggers for degraded feeds. 7. Implement regulatory and compliance controls — data retention, audit trails, and feed-usage controls aligned with exchange licensing requirements (MAS, VARA, or applicable jurisdiction). Qualifications • Solid STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) education background. • 5+ years of Golang production software engineering experience, preferably in trading/oms/latency sensitive systems. • Demonstrable background at a crypto exchange, algorithmic trading firm, or high-frequency trading shop is strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of low-latency design patterns: lock-free data structures, cache-line alignment, kernel bypass (DPDK/RDMA awareness), and zero-copy I/O. • Hands-on experience with high-throughput messaging: Kafka, Pulsar, or custom ring-buffer / LMAX Disruptor patterns. • Proficiency with crypto market data protocols and formats: WebSocket order book streaming, FIX (CME/institutional venues), SBE binary encoding; familiarity with REST and gRPC for internal distribution. • Understanding of order lifecycle and market microstructure basics • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment Nice to Have • Exposure to on-chain data pipelines — indexing DEX liquidity events, funding rates, or oracle price feeds. • Experience with cross-region active-active replication and consistency guarantees under network partition. • Familiarity with options/derivatives market data — Greeks surface construction, vol surface streaming. • Secondary language proficiency in C++ or Rust for ultra-low-latency components.
