Security Platform Engineer

Our flagship ecosystem combines a compliant, security-first crypto exchange serving both retail and institutional clients, alongside a Debit Card that enables everyday spending and smooth bridging between fiat and digital assets, supported by core capabilities such as spot trading and yield generation products. Responsibilities •Design and develop internal security services and tools, leading the architecture, implementation, and performance optimization of core modules to build scalable and evolvable security infrastructure •Build security data collection, processing, and analysis capabilities, and deliver systems for threat detection, risk identification, and alerting •Lead the implementation of the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC), embedding security practices into engineering workflows and driving adoption across teams •Collaborate closely with engineering, infrastructure, and data teams to scale security capabilities and improve overall engineering efficiency •Continuously research emerging threats and attack techniques, enhancing detection and defense capabilities to support evolving security strategies •Contribute to and drive security architecture and technical direction for the US region, establishing best practices and engineering standards Basic Qualifications •Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field •5+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of owning complex systems or modules •Strong proficiency in Golang, with solid coding skills and good engineering practices •Deep understanding of operating systems, networking, data structures, and system design •Experience in backend or distributed systems, with exposure to high-concurrency or large-scale systems preferred •Familiarity with common security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies, with strong secure coding awareness •Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to drive complex projects in ambiguous environments Preferred Qualifications •Experience building security products such as SOC, HIDS, or detection platforms, with contributions to core capabilities •Experience in security data analysis, real-time processing, or detection engine development •Proven experience building systems or platforms from 0 to 1, or playing a key role in technical decision-making •Strong cross-functional communication and influence, with the ability to drive security adoption across the organization
