Payments & Settlement Operations Specialist

About the Role You will own the settlement cycle for ABF's operations — ensuring funds flow correctly and on time between all counterparties — while also managing broader treasury functions, including cash positioning and fund allocation. Key Responsibilities Manage daily settlement operations for all US payment channels: monitor fund flows, confirm settlement completion, and resolve exceptions Execute domestic and cross-border fund transfers in compliance with US regulatory requirements; maintain T+1 execution SLA for approved payment requests Monitor cash positions across US bank accounts; manage intraday liquidity and flag shortfalls proactively Maintain and optimize the prefunding and reserve account structure for US operations Build and maintain settlement SOPs and exception-handling playbooks Coordinate with banking partners on settlement discrepancies, cut-off times, and operational issues Requirements 3–5 years of experience in settlement operations, payments ops, or treasury management Good understanding of US payment rails (ACH, Fedwire, RTP, domestic wire) Familiarity with prefunding models, cash positioning, and working capital management Detail-oriented; able to operate in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment Experience in crypto or cross-border fintech preferred
