Frontend Dev - Trading Platform
The Role As a Frontend Developer, you will work on creating complex, data-rich, and real-time user interfaces for our trading application. This role requires prior hands-on experience building front ends for trading or financial platforms, understanding user expectations for performance, precision, and reliability is essential. What You’ll Do • Design and develop real-time, performant front-end features for a trading platform. • Implement advanced UI components such as live charts, order books, trade history, and position tracking. • Work closely with product managers and designers to build intuitive user flows specific to trading. • Handle high-frequency data updates efficiently using WebSockets and data polling strategies. • Maintain and extend a front-end codebase focused on modularity, testability, and responsiveness. • Ensure high-quality UI/UX consistent with the needs of active traders and institutional users. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous delivery cycles What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of front-end development experience • At least 1 year of experience working on a trading platform or similar financial application • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 • Deep knowledge of React (preferred) or Vue/Angular • Experience with real-time data handling (WebSockets, polling, streaming APIs) • Familiarity with trading concepts such as order types, P&L, leverage, positions, and order book depth • Solid understanding of API integration and error handling in data-intensive apps • Ability to work with charting or financial visualization libraries (e.g., TradingView, Highcharts, D3) Preferred: • Experience with crypto, equities, FX, or options trading platforms • Knowledge of security best practices in financial front-end development • Mobile app experience (Electron or similar frameworks) Why Join Us • Work on products with real impact. • Be part of a team that values ownership, curiosity, and execution. • Competitive compensation, and benefits. • Flexible work environment with a focus on outcomes, not hours.
