Finance Manager

Duties Manage the financial requirements for a live exchange to ensure compliance with local requirements. Dealing with auditors, tax agents and other regulatory requirements. Responsible to bridge the requirements between Group reporting and local outsourced accountants. Aligning as much as possible to ensure minimal to no deviation of accounting practices for HQ and locally. Managing banking relations. Responsible in interface between big data/platform to accounting system to record trades, deposits, withdrawals, PL movements etc. Responsible in drafting SOP and policies to comply with regulator's (CMB) requirement. Being the main contact point for finance in regards to CMB's query and drafting solutions for internal review and approval. Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc including streamline and improve existing processes. Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Supporting daily payment operations, including bank account opening and transfer, cheque, cash etc. Responding to vendor enquiries regarding finance. Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports. Undertaking other duties as required. Requirements Proven >5 years working experience for full-suite company finance including Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Has deep and extensive knowledge of local accounting practices and tax requirements so that can align with Group reporting requirements. Has MNC reporting knowledge. Understanding Turkey's corporate requirements; VAT, Corporate tax and audit. Good knowledge of international telegraphic transfer. Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records. Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software. Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Proficiency in MS Office, Oracle Netsuite. High degree of accuracy and attention to details. BS Degree in Finance or Accounting. Good-to-have In-depth working knowledge or prior experience working in a cryptocurrency exchange or brokerage house. Comprehensive knowledge on CMB requirements. Big 4 working experience. Experience dealing with regulators. Language: English and Turkish. Fluency in Turkish and English is mandatory.
