DevOps Engineer

About Cleanverse Cleanverse is building the world’s first compliance-native Web3 financial infrastructure - connecting clean identity with clean money and enabling secure, traceable, and regulation-ready value transfer across both Web3 and traditional finance. Our infrastructure includes A-Pass (identity-bound credentials), A-Token (compliance-filtered stablecoin layer), and the Cleanverse Network (cross-chain, compliance-first trust layer). We are now hiring a DevOps Engineer to build and operate the core infrastructure that powers Cleanverse’s on-chain and off-chain systems. What You’ll Do Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Operations Maintain and scale Cleanverse’s cloud environments (AWS/GCP), ensuring high availability, security, and fault tolerance. Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for backend services, blockchain components, and internal tools. Automate deployments, environment provisioning, and release processes. Manage container orchestration using Docker & Kubernetes (or equivalent). Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems across all environments. On-Chain Infrastructure Operations Set up and maintain blockchain node infrastructure across multiple chains (EVM, Solana, L2s). Operate and optimize RPC endpoints, indexers, smart-contract event listeners, and node reliability. Ensure secure signing workflows, key management, and safe handling of blockchain operations. Support the development team with infrastructure for smart contracts, attestations, and transaction services. Off-Chain Database & Data Engineering Operations Manage and optimize off-chain databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, or cloud-native DBs). Build and maintain pipelines for off-chain data ingestion, indexing, and real-time synchronization. Handle operational workflows for compliance-related data, logs, audit trails, and analytics. Implement backup, recovery, archival, and data-retention strategies aligned with regulatory requirements. Post-Trade Backend Development Take ownership of Cleanverse’s post-trade backend module written in Go. Maintain, optimize, and extend existing post-trade features (e.g., reconciliation, transaction processing, settlement logic). Implement new enhancements, performance tuning, and modular refactoring as business needs evolve. Ensure backend services integrate seamlessly with on-chain components and off-chain databases. Write clean, testable, and high-performance Go code following best practices. Collaborate with product and blockchain teams to align trade workflows with compliance logic and platform requirements. Security, Reliability & Compliance Operations Implement DevSecOps practices across all infrastructure layers. Manage secrets, certificates, IAM permissions, and access control. Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., ISO27001, SOC2 controls). Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization. Support incident response and root-cause analysis for production issues. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with backend, blockchain, product, and compliance teams to support new features and infrastructure needs. Participate in architectural discussions and propose improvements for stability, scalability, and maintainability. Provide internal documentation, onboarding materials, and operational runbooks. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering, or backend engineering experience. Strong experience with AWS/GCP cloud services, Linux environments, and infrastructure automation (Terraform/Ansible). Hands-on experience with Go backend development (Go modules, concurrency, APIs). Skilled in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.). Solid knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (or equivalent orchestration). Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipeline operations. Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure (EVM nodes, RPC providers, indexers, key- management systems). Good foundational knowledge of networking, security, and cloud architecture. Able to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment. Nice to Have Hands-on experience managing Solana or Layer-2 rollup nodes. Knowledge of MPC, HSM, or secure signing systems. Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging queues (Kafka, Redis Streams, Pub/Sub). Familiarity with compliance-centric infrastructure (logging, audit trails, Travel Rule systems). Background in fintech or regulated technology environments. Why Join Cleanverse Build the foundational infrastructure behind compliance-native Web3 finance. Work with a high-calibre team across blockchain, payments, AI, and regulatory tech. Competitive compensation High-ownership role with direct impact on Cleanverse’s core platform. Fast-execution culture with global visibility.
