Head of Lending

Description You will lead the development and commercialisation of a Loan Management System and build a Digital Credit Network. You will define lending use cases, design institutional-grade credit infrastructure, and embed credit and risk thinking into product. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Revenue and engage senior stakeholders at financial institutions and crypto firms to drive adoption and partnerships. Requirements 10+ years of experience in credit, lending, or capital markets (institutional lending, structured credit, prime brokerage, or balance-sheet financing) Direct exposure to crypto lending or digital asset financing Strong understanding of collateral mechanics, margining, credit risk, and institutional reporting Comfortable operating between traditional finance standards and crypto-native innovation Executive presence with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, risk teams, and regulators Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a new vertical Responsibilities Own the vision, roadmap, and commercial performance of the Loan Management System Define institutional lending use cases across crypto-backed loans, margin financing, structured credit, and treasury financing Partner with Product and Engineering to design institutional-grade credit infrastructure with strong controls and scalability Act as senior subject-matter expert on credit and lending in enterprise sales cycles and executive conversations Build relationships with lenders, custodians, asset managers, prime brokers, and credit funds Contribute to the design and launch of the Digital Credit Network, including risk frameworks and participation models Embed credit and risk thinking into product design, including collateral management, LTVs, lifecycle events, and reporting Represent the company externally in conversations around institutional digital asset lending Benefits Remote or Hybrid working 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays One additional day of annual leave each year, up to 30 total days Your birth off Mental health resources, wellbeing programs, and professional coaching Family-friendly policies Fitness and wellness budget MacBook Pro $200 home office setup budget Training and development budget Additional benefits depending on location
