User Growth Intern

Responsibilities Track Web3 industry trends, including emerging projects, trending sectors, market narratives, user behavior changes, and growth strategies adopted by leading exchanges. Monitor major crypto exchanges and Web3 platforms to understand their latest user growth campaigns, product mechanics, incentive models, and community engagement strategies. Conduct industry research on key Web3 sectors such as DeFi, CEX / DEX, RWA, AI + Crypto, Meme, Layer 1 / Layer 2, wallets, trading products, and on-chain ecosystems. Organize and analyze user data, project data, campaign data, and market information to support the team in identifying growth opportunities. Assist in building basic research reports, market summaries, competitor tracking sheets, and user growth insight documents. Research competitors’ user growth strategies, marketing campaigns, product features, referral mechanisms, trading incentives, and community operations. Summarize competitor insights and provide practical optimization suggestions for user acquisition, activation, retention, and conversion. Support cross-functional collaboration with growth, operations, marketing, product, and research teams by providing timely market updates and data-backed observations. Help maintain internal databases, including project watchlists, competitor activity trackers, campaign calendars, and industry trend documents. Requirements Undergraduate or graduate student graduating in 2025 or 2026; open to all majors. Strong interest in Web3, Crypto, exchanges, trading products, and user growth. Good Chinese and English reading ability, with the ability to quickly search, read, and understand English industry materials, project documents, market reports, and social media content. Strong information search, collection, and organization skills, with the ability to independently complete basic research tasks. Good logical thinking and analytical skills, able to summarize key points from large amounts of information and turn them into clear insights. Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to deliver research summaries and data整理 tasks with accuracy. Strong learning ability and curiosity, willing to proactively follow Web3 industry trends and continuously build industry knowledge. Good communication and execution skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and provide timely updates. Familiar with basic office and research tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Notion, Feishu, or similar platforms. Nice to Have Background in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, or related fields. Experience in Web3 project research, crypto community operations, market research, industry analysis, or report writing. Familiarity with on-chain data analysis tools such as Dune, Nansen, DeBank, Token Terminal, DefiLlama, or similar platforms. Crypto trading experience or basic understanding of spot trading, futures trading, tokenomics, liquidity, market making, and exchange operations. Active user of Twitter / X, Telegram, Discord, or other Web3-native platforms. Own Twitter / X account with continuous output or interest in sharing Web3-related insights, project analysis, market updates, or industry opinions. Ability to independently identify market narratives, trending projects, user growth opportunities, and competitor highlights. Prior internship experience in Web3, Crypto, FinTech, consulting, investment research, data analysis, product operations, or user growth is a plus.
