Futures Operations Intern
Responsibilities Support daily operations related to futures trading products, including campaign research, user activity analysis, competitor tracking, and operational execution. Monitor futures trading campaigns, product updates, fee promotions, trading competitions, incentive programs, and user growth strategies from major competitors. Compare different competitors’ futures campaigns and summarize their strengths, weaknesses, user incentives, mechanics, and potential learnings. Assist in planning and brainstorming new futures-related campaigns, product operation ideas, trading activities, and user engagement strategies. Track market trends, trading narratives, popular tokens, user behavior, and futures-related product opportunities. Help organize campaign materials, operational documents, competitor research reports, and internal review notes. Work closely with product, growth, marketing, and operations teams to support campaign launches and product optimization. Support data collection and basic analysis for futures activities, including participation, trading volume, user conversion, retention, and reward performance. Respond quickly to operational tasks and support high-priority projects when needed. Requirements Able to support work at least 4 days per week; 5 days per week is highly preferred. Quick response time, strong ownership, and ability to support fast-paced operational needs. Some experience in futures trading, contract trading, crypto trading, or previous internship experience at a crypto exchange is preferred. Familiar with futures products, trading campaigns, competitor activities, and basic trading mechanisms. Strong market sense, able to identify differences between competitor campaigns and summarize actionable insights. Creative, proactive, and able to generate new campaign ideas or product operation suggestions. For Mainland China interns, majors in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or other quantitative / technical fields are preferred. For Singapore-based interns, students from NTU Blockchain or related blockchain / finance / computer science programs are preferred. Preferably within one year of graduation, with strong availability and willingness to commit to a high-intensity internship. Strong stress tolerance, execution ability, communication skills, and learning ability. Nice to Have Prior experience at a crypto exchange, trading platform, broker, FinTech company, or Web3 project. Active futures or spot trading experience, with understanding of leverage, margin, funding rate, liquidation, PnL, and trading competition mechanics. Familiarity with Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Gate, MEXC, or other major exchange futures products and campaigns. Experience in campaign operations, product operations, growth operations, data analysis, or trading-related research. Strong interest in Crypto, derivatives, futures trading, market structure, user growth, and exchange operations. Ability to use Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Python, or data dashboards for basic analysis is a plus.
