Business Operations Engineer(SRE&AWS)

We are helping ABFinance to hire few roles. ABFinance is a US-based firm looking to build and enable digital finance for the future. Our vision is to build a full financial ecosystem where digital assets, traditional finance, and everyday money management live in one seamless experience, made available to everyone. Founded by a team of innovators, traders, and compliance professionals, our mission is to bring the emerging world of digital assets to everyone. Our flagship product is a secure, regulated crypto exchange where we build trading tools for both retail and institutional clients - such as spot trading, yield generation products with a focus on compliance and security. Responsibilities Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of the company’s core business infrastructure on AWS globally; take ownership of SLA for production environments. Design Kubernetes-, Envoy-, and Service Mesh–based cloud-native architectures, including Ingress and other components, to ensure system reliability. Build automation through tooling (IaC, CI/CD) to improve operational efficiency, enhance observability, and accelerate fault detection and recovery. Participate in and advance system security and compliance initiatives, including but not limited to permission management (AWS IAM/K8s RBAC), network security policies, vulnerability management, and incident response. Build and maintain the global operations system, including but not limited to: capacity planning, monitoring and alerting (Prometheus/ELK), CI/CD (GitLab/Jenkins), and disaster recovery planning. Deeply understand business architecture, participate in design reviews, provide technical solutions, and continuously optimize system cost and performance. Job Requirements 5+ years of Linux Operations/SRE/DevOps experience, with strong distributed systems operations capabilities. Proficient with AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, ELB, RDS, etc.), with experience in architecture design, operations, and cost optimization. In-depth understanding of Kubernetes, with hands-on experience managing large-scale clusters in production and strong troubleshooting skills. Proficient with Envoy, Istio/Linkerd, Nginx, and Istio Ingress controllers; strong understanding of service mesh traffic management. Solid understanding of security best practices; familiar with system, network, and application security and vulnerability mitigation. Proficient in at least one programming language (Go/Python/Shell), with the ability to build automation tools and engineer solutions for complex operational issues. Strong experience with Prometheus/ELK monitoring and logging; able to build efficient observability platforms. Strong capacity and performance analysis skills; able to interpret system metrics and perform in-depth diagnosis and optimization. Preferred Qualifications Experience as an SRE/Platform Owner with team leadership or cross-team collaboration. Strong Prometheus/Grafana/ELK observability expertise. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect/SAP), or Kubernetes certifications such as CKA/CKE/CKS.
