Their flagship product is a secure, regulated crypto exchange building trading tools for both retail and institutional clients—including spot trading and yield generation products with a focus on compliance and security. Role Overview As CTO, you will be the ultimate owner of ABFinance’s technology vision, architecture, and delivery. You will lead and scale the engineering organization, partner closely with the Founder and business leaders, and ensure that our systems are secure, scalable, compliant, and built for long-term growth. This role is both strategic and hands-on. You are expected to make high-level architectural decisions while remaining deeply grounded in execution realities. Key Responsibilities Define and own ABFinance’s overall technology vision, system architecture, and technical roadmap, aligned with business strategy. Lead, scale, and structure the engineering organization, including senior leaders and multiple technical teams. Ensure high-quality, stable, and timely delivery of all core platforms, products, and infrastructure. Drive system scalability, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance across all technical domains. Establish clear engineering standards, processes, and accountability to support long-term growth. Partner closely with the Founder, Product, Compliance, and Business teams to translate strategy into execution. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering in a high-growth tech or fintech company. Strong background in large-scale system architecture, ideally in payments, financial systems, or highly regulated environments. Demonstrated ability to build and lead multi-team engineering organizations. Deep understanding of system reliability, scalability, security, and data architecture. Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment. Strong decision-making skills with a bias toward execution and ownership. Experience in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial infrastructure. Experience working with globally distributed teams. Prior involvement in system audits, regulatory reviews, or compliance-driven engineering.
