Their flagship product is a secure, regulated crypto exchange building trading tools for both retail and institutional clients—including spot trading and yield generation products with a focus on compliance and security. Responsibilities US Banking & Payment Rails Integration Evaluate, integrate, and optimize US payment rails, including ACH (debit & credit), Wire (Fedwire / SWIFT), and US card networks. Own the end-to-end integration lifecycle, from bank / processor APIs to internal workflow design: Payment routing, ledger & reconciliation Idempotency & callback handling State machines, error code taxonomy, and retry strategies Drive production readiness, including sandbox testing, real-money validation, phased rollouts, and success rate / failure pattern monitoring. Treasury & Money Movement Enablement Partner with Treasury and Finance teams to support US dollar flows, including: Fund acquisition, settlement timing, liquidity Return handling (ACH returns, wire recalls) Exposure awareness and operational controls Productize treasury-related processes into scalable internal systems. Bank + Crypto Financial Services Exploration Explore and define next-generation financial services at the intersection of US banking and crypto, such as: Bank-linked on/off-ramps USD balance, payout, and settlement products Salary, bill pay, and everyday money movement use cases Translate market research and competitive analysis into clear product directions and execution plans, not just concept decks. Platform & Infrastructure Optimization Collaborate cross-functionally to design and evolve reusable payment infrastructure, including: User account & bank linking Channel routing and fallback logic Refund & return management Error code and incident management frameworks Continuously improve scalability, observability, and operational efficiency across US payment flows. Risk, Compliance & Operations Collaboration Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure: Alignment with US regulatory expectations (KYC, AML, reporting) Stable operations under real-world failure scenarios Clear ownership and closed-loop post-incident reviews Requirements Experience & Domain Knowledge 3–6 years of product experience in US payments, banking infrastructure, cross-border settlement, or fintech platforms. Hands-on understanding of ACH (authorization, settlement cycles, returns), Wire transfers, and US card payments. Prior experience with crypto exchanges, brokerages, or internet-scale payment systems is strongly preferred. Technical & Product Depth Strong grasp of bank / processor / PSP integrations, with the ability to design: Standardized APIs Robust state machines Clear error handling and recovery paths Comfortable working closely with engineering on edge cases, failure modes, and operational trade-offs. Ownership & Collaboration Strong sense of ownership, able to: Proactively identify risks and gaps Drive execution across teams Ensure decisions and issues are fully closed, not parked Able to balance business growth, user experience, and regulatory constraints. Communication Fluent English as a working language. Capable of leading bank / vendor meetings, technical discussions, and producing clear, structured documentation.
