Position Overview As a Trading Risk Control Specialist, you will serve as a key "guardian" of the platform, responsible for real-time monitoring of trading activities, identifying and mitigating market risks, fraudulent behavior, and operational risks. You will ensure a fair and stable trading environment while safeguarding the assets of both the platform and its users. This role demands quick responsiveness, rigorous analytical thinking, and deep industry expertise. 1.Trading Monitoring & Risk Management Lead the development of a real-time risk monitoring system covering spot and derivatives markets, with close tracking of market risk dynamics. Monitor abnormal market fluctuations — including sharp price movements, sudden volume surges, and liquidity anomalies — with 24/7 on-call capability to respond to risk events. Develop risk control rules and models, encompassing trading risk parameters, liquidation mechanisms, leverage management, and stress testing. 2.Risk Identification & Response Identify and investigate market manipulation behaviors such as pump-and-dump schemes and malicious wick attacks, taking immediate intervention measures when necessary. Analyze account relationships to uncover potential manipulation rings and coordinated fraudulent activity. 3.Risk Strategy & System Optimization Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive the implementation of risk control requirements. Provide regular risk status reports to senior management and participate in risk assessments for new product launches. Produce risk analysis reports summarizing risk events, resolution outcomes, and recommendations for improvement. Core Qualifications Must-Haves Background in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field At least 5 years of experience in trading risk control within cryptocurrency exchanges (spot, leverage, derivatives) or traditional financial sectors (securities, futures, forex) Strong interest in digital asset markets, with a solid understanding of cryptocurrency trading mechanisms, products, and market characteristics Keen risk awareness and strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in SQL/Python/R for data querying and analysis Excellent logical reasoning and emergency response capabilities, with the ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure Strong teamwork and communication skills Nice-to-Haves Hands-on trading experience with knowledge of trading strategies and market microstructure Experience leading small to medium-sized teams or cross-functional initiatives Relevant certifications such as Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Legal & Compliance Requirements Not legally required to be based in US but strongly preferred. Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the work location.
