Web3 & Wallet Security Engineer

Job Responsibility Design, implement, and maintain security solution and architectures for Web3 protocols (e.g., blockchain, smart contracts) and cryptocurrency wallets (custodial/non-custodial). Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability audits of Web3 infrastructure, smart contracts (Solidity/Vyper), and wallet applications (web/mobile/desktop). Collaborate with blockchain developers to integrate secure coding practices and implement encryption standards for asset protection. Respond to security incidents related to Web3 ecosystems, including forensic analysis and post-incident remediation. Research emerging Web3 security threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to enhance defense mechanisms. Job Requirements Proficiency in Web3 technologies: blockchain fundamentals (Ethereum, Solana, etc.), smart contract development (Solidity), and wallet infrastructure (BIP-39, BIP-44, MetaMask SDK). Strong background in application security, with experience in penetration testing (OWASP Top 10, Web3-specific vulnerabilities). Knowledge of cryptography: public/private key management, hash functions, digital signatures, and secure multi-party computation (SMPC). Experience with secure coding practices for Web3 applications and cross-chain interoperability security. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, decentralized environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
