APAC Growth Manager

The Mission You'll be the face and voice of Optimum across the Asia-Pacific region, serving as a hybrid community builder, marketer, and ecosystem builder. Your goal: to grow, educate, and drive engagement around the Optimum brand throughout APAC's Web3 ecosystem—from Korea to China, Japan, and beyond—while syncing regional insights with the global team and identifying strategic partnership opportunities. What You'll Do Community & Engagement ● Launch and manage Optimum's community relationships and digital channels across APAC markets, with a strong foundation in Korea ● Translate, localize, and post official announcements, lore, and campaign updates for key APAC markets ● Run community discussions, AMAs, and call recaps in relevant languages (Korean primary, others as applicable) ● Identify active community champions, developers, and creators across the region and turn them into Optimum ambassadors ● Track sentiment, gather feedback, and report key insights from APAC communities to the global team Marketing & Campaigns ● Collaborate on regional campaigns (Digital Treasure Hunts, Zealy quests, etc.) tailored to APAC markets ● Create localized social content—memes, infographics, reels, or threads—and translate articles and blog posts for key markets ● Build and maintain relationships with Web3 KOLs, media outlets, and developer communities across APAC ● Coordinate with the design and comms teams to ensure message consistency across all languages and platforms ● Support the promotion of Optimum's research papers, validator initiatives, and event appearances across major APAC events (e.g., ETH Seoul, Korea Blockchain Week, TOKEN2049, BUIDL Asia, etc.) Business Development & Partnerships ● Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with APAC-based protocols, validators, infrastructure providers, and ecosystem players ● Support partnership announcements and collaborative initiatives with regional stakeholders ● Act as the regional point of contact for potential collaborators, investors, and institutional partners ● Coordinate with the global BD team to align regional opportunities with company objectives Representation & Thought Leadership ● Represent Optimum as a speaker at conferences, panels, and industry events across APAC ● Participate in Twitter Spaces, podcasts, AMAs, and other public-facing channels as the voice of Optimum in the region ● Build Optimum's brand presence and credibility within APAC's Web3 ecosystem through consistent, high-quality engagement ● Serve as a bridge between APAC communities and Optimum's technical and leadership teams Analytics & Strategy ● Monitor performance across community and campaign metrics (growth, engagement, retention) throughout the region ● Experiment with creative marketing activations and measure results across different APAC markets ● Provide weekly feedback loops to optimize content, community strategy, and partnership approach ● Identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities across APAC markets What You Bring ● Native/fluent Korean + professional English (additional APAC languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, are strong bonus points) ● Deep understanding of Web3 culture and crypto communities across APAC, with particular expertise in Korea ● Proven track record in community management, marketing, or business development for Web3, gaming, or tech projects ● Strong existing network across APAC's Web3 ecosystem—validators, developers, founders, investors, or media ● Hands-on experience with Discord, Telegram, X, KakaoTalk, and other regional platforms (WeChat, LINE, etc.) ● Strong writing, content-creation, and communication skills with the ability to represent a brand publicly ● Self-motivated, organized, and genuinely curious about blockchain technology and infrastructure ● Comfortable with public speaking, panel discussions, and representing the company in various formats Nice-to-Haves ● Experience collaborating with or managing influencers/KOLs across multiple APAC markets ● Existing network within regional validator, developer, research, or institutional communities ● Familiarity with APAC Web3 media outlets (e.g., Coinness, TokenPost, Seoulz, Forkast, The Block Asia, etc.) ● Video editing or short-form content creation skills ● Active participation in or contribution to major regional blockchain events ● Previous experience in partnership development or ecosystem growth roles ● Understanding of APAC regulatory landscapes and market nuances
