Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, high-caliber, and operational-minded Director of Operations to drive day-to-day business operations, cross-department coordination, and operational strategy across the Web3 ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Founders, you will serve as the operational bridge across key functional and operational units. This role is tailored for an ambitious, fast-learning leader with at least 2 to 5 years of dedicated Web3/Blockchain experience (within a broader overall professional career) who thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses exceptional execution capability, and can take ownership of multi-project workflows to keep the ecosystem aligned and moving toward unified goals. Key Responsibilities 1. Operations Management & Alignment Cross-Department Leadership: Oversee, inspire, and guide day-to-day operations across functional and departmental leads. Goal Alignment & Execution: Translate high-level foundation strategies and OKRs into tactical operational plans, holding team leads accountable to project timelines and deliverables. Process Optimization: Establish, streamline, and standardize internal communication channels, workflows, and operational reporting mechanisms to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance execution efficiency. 2. Business Operations & Resource Allocation Work closely with the core team to manage resource allocation, cross-team dependencies, and operational budgets across active projects. Facilitate regular operational check-ins, sprint reviews, and status updates for executive leadership. Manage administrative, vendor, and partner operational requirements to support ongoing ecosystem expansion. 3. Strategy & Special Projects Assist leadership in driving strategic initiatives, ecosystem grant programs, or strategic partner implementations. Act as a sound business counterpart to technical leads, ensuring that product development aligns with business objectives and market demands. Key Requirements & Qualifications Leadership & Communication Excellence: Proven track record of strong team leadership, stakeholder management, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex business and operational priorities clearly to diverse global teams. Bilingual Language Mastery: Native or professional fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese, written and spoken) is strictly required for daily team alignment and regional partner engagement. Web3 & Professional Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in a senior or leadership capacity within Web3 / Crypto / Blockchain (Operations, Project Management, or BizOps). Overall professional career background may be longer (e.g., prior experience in technology, traditional finance, management consulting, or fast-scaling startups). Business-First Acumen: Deep familiarity with Web3 business models, L1/L2/DeFi ecosystems, tokenomics, and community-driven operations (rather than code development). Multi-Project Execution: Demonstrated capability to manage multiple concurrent projects, navigate complex organizational matrixes, and align cross-functional teams. Location: Preference for candidates based in Hong Kong for regular in-person leadership collaboration. Mindset: Highly proactive, energetic, structured, and resilient in a fast-paced Web3 startup environment.
